Every Moment is a New Chance to Make the Right Choice

January 2013 update:

I've been using this site for approximately a billion years now (okay...six!) and have seen lots of highs and lows with my weight in this time. Unfortunately, I hit my highest weight ever, 185lbs, after the 2012 holiday season. For me it's all about my calorie intake - I have a firmly established exercise habit, no problems there. My weight is a direct reflection of my eating: when I eat whatever I want and stop when I'm full I gain weight. I don't enjoy ...

I don't enjoy restricting my calories or tracking them, but I need to. My BMI actually hit the obese range at its highest, and my LDL was too high when it was measured in December 2012. Of course I have the superficial reasons for wanting to lose weight that probably every woman has, too. So, I've decided to make a compromise with myself: I will track my calories on every work day in 2013. Here's to a great year and good health!

Thank you for the vote of confidence!
I had to watch the video again after reading your comment and I totally see what you see! ...But something in my head still says, "It must be an optical illusion", cause in reality... I still think sometimes "My tummy still needs work!"

Not to mention MCAS that had to be rescheduled. So crazy.

I did change from my fleece pjs to my fleece sweats and sweatshirt, so technically I'm "dressed." emoticon

I hope that perhaps the progesterone will not be as awful for you as it was for me. I did lose weight on it though...but I think the big thing for me was the lymph drainage. Emotions, thoughts and stress cause hormone signals to the glandular system from the brain. The adrenals etc excrete adrenalin or what ever the brain signals for. That needs to be detoxified from the body through the lymphatic system. Having a big fright can take up to 72 hours before everything goes back to normal. If the lymph is blocked up it takes even longer. That is why people say that anger and unforgiveness gives us cancer, it is because the associated hormones stay in our bodies for such a long time. And why positive attitudes are healthy.

Sorry I am prone to going off on tangents...
Remember how great it is that, you can get pregnant. That is the hardest (!) part and half the battle won.
There is a sad seven year gap between my oldest and my youngest two, when my four miscarried babies, who are in heaven now, were conceived.
Don't give up.
