Oh, and thanks for remembering my book -- hah. I'll send you a free copy when (and if) it ever gets published -- although I'm a long long ways off from that point. I was just thinking over the weekend that I need to kick it into high gear and get that thing finished so that I can edit it ten times, and then send it to be published (or self-publish it more likely). :-) That would entail sticking to one story -- and I'm now up to having started 4 different books. lol. Sounds like it's time to me to get focused.

Hi, I saw your comment on a message board and I can so relate to where you're at with the weight loss. I started out at 5'2 and in the 170s. I dropped 20 pounds and a lot of fat from around the middle, and it's pretty easy to maintain, but I've been trying to lose another 10-20 pounds for a long time now and failing. My doctor thinks my weight is fine as long as my stats are okay.
I think you put it well - you've developed a healthy lifestyle, but you wonder how much more you're willing to change that lifestyle in order to lose more weight. This is what I keep bumping up against too. It's just not the same as when we were younger. On the other hand, I have to wonder how much less my knees would ache if they had less to carry around... 827 days ago
