I have an herb garden and several flower beds. I am a bird watcher. I keep feeders and water in the backyard for them. I love cats. I have two indoor only cats. I am a musician. I used to play the oboe. I am trading it in for a clarinet. I am sick of reed making, and I'm not going to spend my time on it anymore! I enjoy a variety of exercise, but swimming is my favorite.

I love everything about food. I love growing it, canning and freezing it, and eating it! I love to feel full, and I have quite an appetite. I am at a turning point in my Spark journey. I would like to lose about 20 more pounds, but I am ambivalent about making still more lifestyle changes that would take the weight off and keep it off. My doctors are thrilled with my weight as is. This weight is easy to maintain. What to do?

The problem is, this weight makes me feel mediocre. I look good, but not great. My fitness level is good, but not great. I want to be great, but I'm unwilling to make the long term changes that it will take to achieve that goal. The drama continues. What will I decide? At this point not even I know the answer to that question.

Weigh 135 pounds by August 1, 2013.
Swim 1 mile, 3 times a week.
Strength train twice a week.
Bike 30 minutes once a week.
Walk 50 minutes twice a week.

My Program:
I am tracking my food, eating 1200-1500 calories a day.
I am swimming 3 times a week, a half mile a day.
I am using my physical therapy exercises for strength training twice a week.
I walk twice a week for 50 minutes.

emoticon Hi! Thank you for commenting on my blog about my flavour infuser pitcher. I bought mine at Walmarts and if you can't find one there, I'm sure other stores would have them. Can be bought through Amazon but then you have to pay shipping charges.

I really like mine, it gives my water a hint of flavour, doesn't overpower it. Seems just right to me!

I'm really excited about the new house, but let me tell you, the whole process has been quite an ordeal. I guess I must have lucked out with my first home purchase because everything went very smoothly with zero hiccups. This experience on the other hand, has been a lot more stressful. I think my cats will like a new place with more room for sure! And would it be too wrong to admit that yes, maybe I did consider how the cats would like the place when I was home searching?? emoticon
