Time for a change!

2011 was a rough year, and I had such high hopes for 2012. However in April I found myself ending a 8.5 year long marriage, and starting over in more ways than one. One of the benefits is a renewed interest in taking care of myself. I've found myself to be highly motivated the last few months, so I'm back here to review my goals and track my progress.

My Goals:
Feel good.

I will be able to keep up with my active kiddo.

I will be able to keep up with the kids I work with and model the healthy lifestyle that I teach.

My Program:
Eating smaller portions, drinking more water, journaling food, and exercise nearly daily.



Personal Information:
I live in Southern Oklahoma with my 6 year old son near Lake Texoma. My current things I enjoy doing are scrapbooking, photography, and learning to play the guitar.

I work with 4-H kids and do lots of school enrichment focusing on nutrition and exercise.

Other Information:
I am 5ft 3 1/2in (yes, that 1/2 is important!), so my goal of 135 puts me on the higher end of a "normal" BMI. My long term goal is 125, which will put me right in the middle of "normal" and be back to my college days weight!
