I want to stay motivated and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that I can enjoy my retirement & travel with my DH. I've seen too many people retire and then just go downhill, energy and health-wise. This CAN be the best time of my life but it'll take work and commitment. I want to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I also sweat all the time and like you, need salt as well. The last labs drawn show I am still low on Na, so have to keep that going when I have that "healthy glow" LOL

We are doing well and keeping very busy. Took the day off today just to recharge. How are the 2 of you doing?

The heat was bad yesterday and today was to be worse but we both felt it was not quite as humid even though the heat index was 107 versus 105 yesterday. Should be going onto the downside of this heat dome!

I am always drinking due to an auto immune problem. So I have a "bottle" close at hand all the time. I do flavored waters which make them more interesting. I usually have a peach flavor that I love! So easy to drink when it tastes good! Thank you again for the water bottle. I will be using it for sure.

Hi Deena -- emoticon for checking in. I have written blogs the last couple days that explain everything. I give up. I am so frustrated and stressed and I just care about anything anymore.

just read your blog Downward Facing Dog with the dogs.

    I know your pain!

Our Golden (Obie) likes to add some extra resistance by pressing against whatever body part I am trying to move.

Jack (black lab mix) will army crawl and follow me back to child's pose. He also likes to lick my hands, face, arms, whatever he can get to.

Omar (our 1-eyed terrier mix) will lay on my chest if I'm on my back, so I have 15 lbs or so of resistance for any crunch type exercise.

I call it 'Pilates with 3 dog resistance'.
