Gonna Do It This Time!

I'm a chef who has just turned 30. I've been fat all my life and I've finally decided that this weight has to come off. I've got a long way to go, but I'm ready and willing to take the time and effort to make it happen.

I'm a chef who has just turned 30. I've been fat all my life and I've finally decided that this weight has to come off. I've got a long way to go, but I'm ready and willing to take the time and effort to make it happen.

I've been divorced for a year now and I have no children. I'm dating again, and want to be the hottest thing out there! I love to travel and have fun. My main passion and obsession in life is food which got me into this predicament in the first place. I'm looking for a way to make my job and passion for creating great food work with my desire to live a healthier, thinner life.

Luckily for me I love all manner of fruits and vegetables (the fresher the better) and I'm making steps to become vegan because meat (especially thick, juicy steaks) is one of my trigger foods and I need to learn to do without it for a while.

I've recently come back from a trip to Europe and I'm starting to save up and plan another trip, but next time I'm determined to go back skinny. They weren't kidding when they said that French women don't get fat!

I've lost lost of weight before with specialized diets and exercise and it's completely my fault that I gained it all back. I'm looking to make actual habits out of healthy living.

I'm also going to be using the book "100 Days of Weight Loss" by Linda Spangle to help me in my weight loss journey. I plan to blog often and join a lot of SparkTeams and participate a lot. The more I'm on SparkPeople the less I'm off binge eating somewhere!

My Goals:

My Program:
Recently became vegan, with heavy emphasis on fruits and veggies. Also working out daily with dance cardio, strength training, pilates and yoga.

Personal Information:
I'm a born and raised Southern Californian and I'm not ashamed of it. I saw snow fall from the sky (in Europe) for the first time in my life just a month ago and I didn't like it at all. Gimme the sun and heat anytime.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Management and currently work for a large hotel chain.

Other Information:
I love, love, LOVE to read. Right now I'm reading everything historical (fact and fiction) but I can also be seen reading a racy romance novel on occasion.

Welcome to Meeting The Daily Challenge of Diet And Exercise.
Girl I'm 50 this year and BAZINGA! Life is a whole new adventure! Let's go it together shall we and meet each other at the finish line looking hot and most imprtantly healthier. This journey is a life style change and has it's daily challenges to overcome. There's always going to be bumps in the tarmac along the way. Just remember to set daily goals and if there is one that you don't meet? Don't sweat it! It's NOT failure just a non-accomplishment that can be accomplished another day. We do not beat ourselves up over it either. It's one day at a time. And we are here to support each other to keep ech other motivated determined and on track.
