Bill did a wonderful job deep frying his turkeys. I always do one, too, because I like to stuff it with corn bread stuffing, and my kids don't think it's a proper holiday without it. lol Did you have a good Christmas? Do you have New Year's Eve plans? We will have a house full of guests, finger foods, and some fireworks for New Year's Eve and then, as my mother always insisted, we will have black-eyed peas and a pot of cabbage on New Year's Day. it's been so good to have Bill home for the holidays this year. What a blessing! All the best to you in 203, girlfriend. *HUGS*
Hey, you! All ready for Christmas? What are your gift ideas this year? My kids are at the age where they're mostly getting clothes this year, a few other little things, a breadmaker for my oldest, a juicer for Bill's oldest, toys for the baby, earrings for the girls. I wanted to get Bill the Rosetta Stone set for Spanish since he has so many Spanish speaking folks on his ships, but man that stuff is pricey! I'll start saving up for it for his birthday in Sept. Since Bill will be home (third time in eight years on this job), we're having a house full of company, our big extended family for dinner. Bill will be deep frying a couple turkeys and we'll be baking a ham, as well. Will you be cooking a big dinner? Sending much Christmas cheer your way!! *HUGS*
Thank you so much! I hope your Thanksgiving was as lovely as you are, dear one. Bill had to return to his ship the day before Thanksgiving, but he will be home for Christmas for only the third time in eight years. We are so excited. God bless you!!!
