The Quest To Find My "A" Game

I've never been on a diet before, but after starting my own business last year, I've stopped exercising and started to get stressed out.

I also got married last year, which means someone loves me no matter what... a huge problem when it comes to keeping in shape.

I tend to get thin when I'm depressed and fat when I'm happy, and I am like perfectly content right now. Which means that last week the ass ripped out of my pants when I bent over in the grocery store. I ...

I also got married last year, which means someone loves me no matter what... a huge problem when it comes to keeping in shape.

I tend to get thin when I'm depressed and fat when I'm happy, and I am like perfectly content right now. Which means that last week the ass ripped out of my pants when I bent over in the grocery store. I know. So stereotypical.

So, long story short, I've gain a solid 15 pounds in just six months, mostly in my stomach - a stress baby.

I used to go to the gym 5-6 times a week, and really enjoyed it, so I'm looking to get back into the habit. I also used to drink less, which I'm going to look into as well. I already eat a healthy diet, but could probably eat a lot less.

See this leaf? It's going to get turned the F&%$ over.

My Goals:
- lose 15 pounds gradually, then maintain my goal weight.

- get back in the gym, with a special focus on weight training.

- find a place where I am comfortable and stay there.

My Program:
- eat between 1200 and 1400 calories a day, using as few processed foods as possible.

- work out five times during the week, with a nice combo of cardio and weights.

- get adventurous on the weekend, with some challenging hikes with my husband and dog

-limit my alcohol intake to something reasonable... TBA.

Personal Information:
I live in beautiful Missoula, Montana with my two cats, my dog, and my loving husband.

I am a writer.

I love to eat and drink, which has proven to be a problem, according to my jeans.

Other Information:
I'm 5'4 and 130 pounds.

I'd like to get down to 115, the weight I've been for most of my adult life.

Let's do this.

I just wanted to say that your wedding hairdo looks so cute. You look so happy in that picture! A city hall wedding is really the way to go, I think. My fiance and I decided that Las Vegas would be an inexpensive and stress-free way to get hitched... but it's turning out to be nearly as costly and aggravating as a "proper" wedding.

A city hall wedding! That's what I'm talking about.

I got married in a courtroom, and it cost $37.50. Best ceremony ever.
