Hey Season! After talking to you and SEEING you yesterday I decided to give SparkPeople another look! I've been playing around on here and I can see it might just be as addicting as Facebook! Do you have your SparkPeople page connected to your FB? You look wonderful:) I love your story. Keep up the good work.
I was checking up on my "friends" and had to check out the changes you made to the introduction. I am so sorry for your loss. Eventhough it was "way back then," I totally understand.
I was pregnant with my second only months after my mother had passed away. We talked often of what I'd name my second daughter (we already had a boy's name picked out). It was hard to get pregnant; but when we finally did, I was so happy. Then we went on a family trip to Lousiana. I started spotting. I called the doctor and he said, "nothing to worry about, probably just implantation spotting." When we got back, I had an ultrasound and found out that the baby had died. I had the D/C on December 19, 2002. So in the same year, I lost both my mother and my second child. My husband didn't seem to understand what I was going through. I, too, found my escape in food.
I hope that I can take a cue from you and get my motivation back!
