Time to come out of my shell!

It's time for me to make a fresh start!

3 years ago I started my SP journey and lost 50lbs. I was happy, I was healthier and I had a positive attitude.

In December of 2009 we found out that the Air Force was sending us to England in May of 2010. Between the day we found out and the day we moved my weight loss stopped and I kept making excuses; Moving is tiring, No time to exercise, So much stuff to get done... and so on. 3 years ago I started my SP journey and lost 50lbs. I was happy, I was healthier and I had a positive attitude.

In December of 2009 we found out that the Air Force was sending us to England in May of 2010. Between the day we found out and the day we moved my weight loss stopped and I kept making excuses; Moving is tiring, No time to exercise, So much stuff to get done... and so on. Once we got to England I found a whole new land of foods that I decided I "needed" to try, but somehow the exercise never got started again.
In the 2 years we've lived in England I've managed to gain back the 50lbs that I worked so hard to lose. There was always a (poor) excuse as to why I couldn't get started exercising again. The little voice in the back of my head would look at the English treats and tell me that it's okay to eat it now, since we won't be living here forever.

I need to change back to my previous thinking. I need to motivate myself to exercising regularly. I don't need all those sweets and treats, I need food to live, not to live for food. I've been on this journey once before and today is the start of my new trip down the weight loss road!

Hi Shell I hope you will join us for the Spring challenge. Sandra is one of the wonderful leaders. She has sent you a request via Sparkmail. It truly has made all the difference for me. Even if only wanted to be a honorary member and not have all the pressure. The support is amazing. Have a great weekend. emoticon

It is hard to believe that you have been gone over 200 days now. I still think of you and wonder why you left. You made a difference and I miss you!
