Trying to get back on this. In 2011 I was hit by a truck on my bicycle. It derailed all my goals and intentions. I did quit my career to bike across the continent, just to prove I could and then joined the Peace Corps. Currently trying to figure out my next move, but I should not allow my health to suffer due to my circumstances.

My Goals:
I want to reduce my carbon footprint. By eating right and using only sustainable products, commuting by not using a car and by practicing what I believe.

My Program:
Eating locally, traditionally farmed and seasonal foods. Bicycling or bussing almost anywhere, and by keeping my mind open to new ideas and opportunities.

Personal Information:
I live in Seattle, on a hill, Leschi is my home neighborhood now. I miss Georgetown but I have found myself much more active and involved now that I am up the hill. Oh yeah learning to ride my beastly bike uphills is great for the drop in pant sizes!

Other Information:
You can only truly appreciate your life and make the appropriate lifestyle choices when you hit rock bottom. It took me hitting twice to walk away with my head held high. No matter what you cannot give up, you just have to change your course.

Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my pic. Yep, that's fairly recent - taken this April. emoticon

Hope you're doing well. Have a good day!

Hey, SeaOfCarnage, how's it going? Haven't heard from you in a while, thought I would check in. I hope you've been enjoying the spring weather - at least there's hope, right!
And Happy Mother's Day!

Today probably would have been good for a bike ride, I need to get some screws for my bike so I can start riding it without it making scary noises!

I am all for pole dancing in general, but it's expensive to take lessons! There's a place on University Ave. that I walk past occasionally. Maybe they'll get cheaper now that the economy is icky!

One form of dancing that I would love to try if I ever have enough money is taking a pole dancing class, sleezy I know, but strippers do have great bodies! haha
