I found SP while looking for a nutrition calculator. I'd lost 25 pounds without much of an idea about what I was doing. I was amazed and grateful to discover that Sparkpeople is so much more than a calorie tracker.

I know from experience that making small, consistent positive changes snowballs into an avalanche of change. I didn't know that I would need to pay attention to every day if I wanted to hang on to the benefits of those changes. I didn't know that nothing is or can be allowed to be more important than health. Not studying. Not chores. Not even family demands.

But I am learning that now.

I don't think my ST journey is very blog worthy. It has been more down than up, and currently it is up because there is a native centre close to where I live that holds twice weekly cross-fit classes and is free to the community. The instructor is amazing. I only have to show up, do the circuit of the day, and after an hour, I feel AWESOME. That is an improvement on my home gym routine, which I was finding difficult, due to laziness getting it done.

    Greetings Jess.... emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks for sharing your apple recipe with me on my Spark Page. I love the idea that it's quick, tasty and simple. Would you consider copying and pasting it over to the new "Champions Recipe Box" so all your team mates could have a look see? If you don't know how, I'd be please to make the post for you. People seem to respond more to some of the simpler ideas... and what I like about yours is you could change it up in so many ways. Ever try doing it with pears? (Of course that would blow holes in our apple theme.)
Enjoy your Saturday and thanks again! Brad

    (Thanks for the Apple too!)

Thank you for your comment on my blog ........"Boy! Did I EVER Get Away With Something!" ..You asked how my hubby manages to put things on the list after he has used the last? ........ He is actually great and if he doesn't he lets me know and I will jot er down! .... (He used to be in charge of the domestic scene far more than me until we recently reversed our roles. (I semi retired and he went back full time after a lay off for several months) He swept, vacuumed, grocery shopped, cooked and did the laundry!) ..... He is a keeper; anyway, ... Hope you have a wonderful weekend that doesn't go by too fast!
