Looking for a change

I have been struggling to get control of my body for about 8 years now. Until my mid twenties I was naturally very (most say too) thin and did not have healthy habits. As I have gained weight (and lost muscle mass) I have struggled to adjust my lifestyle. I am committed to changing so I can feel and look more like myself. I want that energy back! I hope this site can offer some support and maybe I can offer support to others.

My Goals:
I travel a lot for my job. I have often found that the travel is an obstacle to developing healthy habits. I will be home for a while and have chosen to try to develop those healthy habits during this time so when I do go back on the road, the will be so second nature that I will have less trouble incorporating my new habits into my schedule.

My Program:
I enjoy working out once I get to it. I want to work on a schedule for working out that becomes habit. I also want to learn more about healthy ways to cook while I am home and to eat out when I am on the road for my job.
I plan to do cardio 5 to 7 times a week, minumum of 25 minutes but aiming for an hour. I also plan to do strenght training and stretching 3 days a week, probably M-W-F
