"Life as I know it is going to change."

I'm looking at turning 40 this year and I want to start a new decade with a new healthy mindset. I've been doing a lot of research into chemicals in our foods and products and really taking total inventory of everything I come in contact with and I am taking baby steps to change. Last year I started really consistently eating healthy, fruits and veggies, whole wheat products, trying to stay away from processed foods, trying not to eat fast food everyday at lunch.

Well, now because of some recent health issues I have been advised to cut out anything that has ingredients that link to estrogen, preservatives, chemicals, and GMO's. I've swapped out all my products and working on switching my diet over. Its hard. I went shopping so I have good food to work in, but I still have some foods here that I'm just not ready to give up. Yet.

Surpassed my recent weight loss goal and lost 55. New goal is to lose another 55.

August 2013
Personal Goals:
-Start doing some part time work on my Organizing business.

August 2012
-Lose 40 lbs by Christmas.
-Increase strength with strength training circuit.
-Tone muscles and lose fat.


My Program:
August 2012 & again 2013
1. Focus on low calorie and low GI foods.
2. Extend my walks with the dog to 2x/day at least 15-30 minutes each.
3. Go to the gym to do elliptical &/or treadmill minimum 30 minutes/day 3 days/wk.
4. Stength training circuit 2 days/wk
5. Meditate minimum 15 mins each night.


Personal Information:
I was Born and raised in San Diego County.
I tend to be a homebody, going home after work, staying home on the weekends. My life revolves around my dog. She's 13 now, I've had her since a she was puppy and she's pretty much my life.

Other Information:
I've been saying for years I want to start my business in my spare time, and now I'm in a networking group that should help motivate me to get it going. I'm finally finishing up my last few transfer classes that have been holding me up for too many years.
