Ok, so it's 2009, two months in and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing. I have good days and a lot of bad days. I LOVE SWEETS! But at 38, I'm now doing a two step with diabetes. I developed gestational diabetes while I was pregnant. The Dr. let me know that it could return later if I didn't take care of my health. Well, that was 11 1/2 years ago and I'm 100 lbs heavier and NOT 26years old!!!! So, as I'm dealing with a budding preteen with ATTITUDE! I look at my swollen ankles ...

I look at my swollen ankles daily and say, "Shonda, you betts to get a grip!" I have been overweight all my life and now that I'm morbidly obese, I am not ready for a shiny caskett or missing limbs! AFFIRMATION **I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO IS THE HEAD OF MY LIFE**** INSPIRATION **"Mama, I want to be like you when I grow up!" - My daughter told me this and it was like ice-cold water being throuwn in my face. She's a skinny minnie now but I don't want to have to put her on a diet in a few years! - - - - - -BUT I WILLL IF I HAVE TOO! Believe that! Chocolate Cookies - Chocolate Cake - Chocolate Candy! - The dreams never end but I will find a moderation for it all! It is February 18, 2009 and I will begin again! So let it be written, So let it be said!

My Program:
-Eat 4/5 small meals every day. -Drink 9 glasses of water. -Walk, Walk, Walk! -2/3 fruits a day. -Hand weights to shave off the jiggly on the arms! -Not eating past 7 o'clock.
Personal Information:
I'm a Texas gal by the way of Houston! I love my city! There's so much to see, do and eat! Hence, my problem! I love hearing from everyone. It may take me a day to get back to you but believe that I will hit you back!!!
Other Information:
I love to read and listen to music. I'm quiet by nature so excuse me if i sometimes don't say too much! Y'all just give me a buzz and shake me up! I have one more semester to complete for Grad school and everything is a little hectic for me right now. Between work, school and my daughter, I can barely breath sometimes!
