Time to get serious and build the life I want to live! Working on eating clean, exercising regularly, and pursuing my goals. I'm taking it one step at a time, with mini-goals, and ultimately hope to return to a healthy BMI. I want to be strong, energetic, and empowered.

I used to be my ideal weight without really trying, then I developed an eating disorder and struggled with that for about six years. The year I recovered, I also went through many changes - got married, moved, quit my job, went back to school, turned 25... And I started gaining weight. I joined SP in 2011 and tried to curb it, but year after year I kept gaining.

In 2013 I did a SP challenge and lost 15 lbs, but got derailed shortly afterwards with a vacation, then a move and a new job. I gained everything back, plus a couple extra pounds.

This year I've decided to take my life back and be intentional about pursuing my goals, especially with regard to health. I've started treatment for my anxiety, which has made a huge difference. Also, we discovered that DH has a fatty liver and high cholesterol which has motivated both of us to drastically change our diet. We plan to make the change for life, and this time I won't stop until I reach my final goal!

My Goals:
- Get to a healthy BMI
- Increase Fitness Level
- Become Educated on Nutrition and Fitness


My Program:
Nutrition
- eat clean whole foods
- track everything
- aim for SP recommended ranges of: calories, carbs, fat, protein, fibre, & sodium
- minimum 8 glasses of water per day, aim for 12

Exercise
- 30 min cardio 5x per week (gradually increase time/intensity)
- Strength Training 3x per week



Personal Information:
I'm 30 years old. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years. We have one fur-baby, a Japanese Chin named Rory.

I work at a church as an administrator. I am also an aspiring writer.


Other Information:
I enjoy TV, Movies, MMORPGs, Music, & Pop Culture. I also like playing piano, singing, and gardening.
