Working on those last 15lbs!

My name is Amanda and I have been on my journey to a healthy lifestyle for the last few years. Since 2010, I have lost 45 pounds and have the final 15 pounds to go. With the help of Sparkpeople and my Bodybugg, I was able to keep off the weight even through a 6 month recovery from ankle surgery the summer of 2011. After returning to the workforce fulltime, the pounds have creeped back. I don't think those hormones are helping either. I would love to feel and look my best for my 50th next ...

Strength Training workouts 3-4 times a week at home.

Cardio - walking+ daily 30 minutes.

Nutrition - 1200-1500 calores per day.

The sonoma Diet is a great one, but you have to follow it, just like any other. Don't bother joining the online program. There is no participation after Wave 1 which is sad because it is such a good plan. When I first joined in 2006, it was fabulous with lots of participation but not now. Stay with Spark but go ahead and implement the plan. I haven't made up my mind to do it yet. But the recipes are great, especially the veggie recipes. The Mediterranean Diet group on spark is the closest thing.
