Enjoyin' The Ride!
Eat Healthy, Ride Daily! My health was getting caught up in this fast paced, hectic, run around, raising kids, busy lifestyle...I was 47 and over the years I'd developed many reasons to lose weight and exercise including high cholesterol, arthritis, knee pain, surgeries, thyroid issues, tiredness, and pre-diabetes. Eat Healthy, Ride Daily! My health was getting caught up in this fast paced, hectic, run around, raising kids, busy lifestyle...I was 47 and over the years I'd developed many reasons to lose weight and exercise including high cholesterol, arthritis, knee pain, surgeries, thyroid issues, tiredness, and pre-diabetes. I was told by my doc that I was close to diabetes a year ago. At the end of Aug. 2010 my glucose level was in the diabetic level. Doc said if It was that high again in Nov. I would be officially type 2 diabetes. Within the next 2 days, on Sept. 3rd 2010, I started keeping a journal of everything I eat and changed to a healthy diet. Then I bought a bike and I've ridden almost every day since. Started seeing a great dietitian who is helping me learn and fine tune my diet. Within the first week my energy level began to soar! I am feeling so much more awake. One month later my glucose level was way down. I am on my way... __________________ "The Wheel is turning and it can't slow down..." -Grateful Dead

My Goals:
Lose weight, increase energy, Make my body more flexible, less aches and pains. Strenghten leg muscles to be in better shape for my upcoming knee replacement.
My Program:
Ride my bike as mich as possible, and add olther cardio. Track all food, eat a healthy breakfast, pack lunch and snacks every day. Keep stretching.
