Hi Janet, I'm Pam, from the 50 Pound Challenge Team. I saw your huddle, you were needing support. So here I am. We have have times of self doubt or times the scale isn't going our way. Or times we want to eat everything in sight. I know I can relate to the fridge at night calling my name. Man it's a tough time of the day for me as well. You sound like a very busy lady, same as me. I believe in our minds we have ourselves convinced we should be able to just not think about food and we aren't strong enough to get through an evening without overeating, usually junk. The self doubt has to stop. But we do have the power to make healthier choices, if we will. I have begun limiting any kind of junk food to things like natural popcorn, grabable fruit like grapes, strawberries, apple wedges or granola bars. I will make a fruit cuo of sliced banana's, sliced oranges and apples and keep it in an airtight container in the fridge and scoop out a half cup as a night time snack. I'm raising my 4 year old grandson, we have had him since birth. I know how hard it is to keep up with him, I started at over 300 pounds. I want to enjoy my time spent with him and not let it slip by and me look back with regret. The older he gets the more he is wanting me to do things with him and I am to a point I refuse to tell him no any more. Grand kids are GREAT motivators in getting us moving.
