Fulfilling a promise

Four years ago I lost about 50 lbs then my DF was diagnosed with cancer. With all the trips to hospital for treatment and trying to get him to eat (all he wanted was pasta) I gained most of it back. Sadly he died two years ago. The evening of his death he made me promise to lose the weight I had gained and to meet the goal I set. Finally on the anniversary of his death, I decided it was time to get back on track

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wasn't big on beets either. But a few weeks ago I heard about 4 times how you don't get used to foods until having them 12-15 times. So...being an educated adult like most of us are...I had a stearn talk with myself as there are a fair amount of really good for you foods I don't care for. So I'm going to try them 12 times.
Now I don't mind beets. It's been 4 times. 4 times also for green peppers.
Twice and I can eat avocado's now but that video "engine2diet" helped with the salad they talk about.
My next food is tomato's. Any thoughts?
