I've never been skinny. Luckily, I've never been obese, but when I started staying home with my two kids in April 2005, I stepped on the scale and realized I was well over 160 pounds. I am not one to weigh myself, but that was not the mental weight I had. With no more travel and adding in more chasing after kids, I lost some weight without trying too hard. At my lowest, I was 137 pounds and felt great. I've gotten lazy since and this morning when I stepped on the scale, I weighed 152.4. I almost don't believe it, as I don't feel like I've gained that much weight back, but I want it off!

My Goals:
I want to be more fit cardiovascularly. I'm pretty strong but cardio is my weakness. I plan to start running using the methodology once it stops raining....

I am also standing up in a good friend's wedding May 3. She's super skinny, and I've never been in a wedding before so I'm vain and want to look good!

Plus, I have two kids, and I want to be a good role model for them AND be around for a long long long long time.

And on a non-physical note, I've started a blog: that I want to maintain for posterity and, hopefully, entertainment! Feel free to check it out and say hi!

My Program:
I am really focusing on what I eat right now. I used to just not eat until I was full, but now I'm looking at what I eat more and incorporating lots of fruits and vegetables.

I have done yoga twice a week for the last year plus, but I'm going to add some cardio via running as well as some more stretching that I should have been doing already.
