Enjoying Life

Hello Everyone... I am here on sparkpeople.com to make some life long changes. I have finally accepted that weight gain or loss in not an overnight thing... It is a process and just as I did not put the pounds on overnight, I shall not shed them overnight. I have really fell in love with eating the right portions and working out. I am starting to see result and I like it. I know that it take commitment and dedication and I will succeed. I never really had an issue with weight before but I realize that my eating habits were poor. I would eat all the wrong food, now I realize how to treat my body and how precious it is. I take calcium, vitamins and drink maqui & acai berry juice on the daily. I also take fish oil and I try to eat clean. For me its about being healthy from the inside out and if I can do that then I will be happy. I look forward to making more friends as I travel through this journey... Wont you come with me...

My Goals:
My first mini goal is I would like to lose 10% of my body weight which is 18 pounds.



My Program:
Committed to working out 5-6 days a week... usually my turbo jam routine by beach body fitness or walking on a treadmill.


Diet:

I am still trying to figure out my eating plan... Its my plan to stay within 1650 calories daily. I am removing fried foods and junk foods(candy and chips). I also will only drink water. At this point I am eating cooked oatmeal/ peanut butter toast (on light whole wheat bread) for breakfast. I usually use six star protein shakes and fruit or zone bars/soups(campbell chunky) for lunch...unless I have a salad, and to keep dinner light I usually eat something like protein and veggies or have a protein shake. I usually fall off around 5 to 7 pm so my goal is to use that time to brows motivational stories on SparkPeople.
