Complacency is dangerous!

I've been way too complacent since I reached Onederland. I did so well for the first 60 lbs of my weight loss and then I just got comfortable. I was elated to be in the 100's, no longer shopping in specialty clothing stores for larger sizes and I weighed less than my DH for the first time in year. I still have some work to do, but I was complacent with where I was. It's time to stop settling.

We're back to summer now. Highs near or in mid-90's. I don't think I'd do very well in your weather, the heat I could probably take, but the humidity would do me in. Around here (NE Montana) we think it's awfully humid at 50%...

Morning, I've not seen you much on the team page so thought I would check in on you. I managed to jog/walk on Tues. night 2.5 miles and last night I manage 3 even though my legs felt like lead. The girls have been riding their bikes with me on the path which has been good for them and for me. I thinke I went farther than I planned last night trying to catch up to them enough to tell them we were turning around. I'm super tight today and I have to remember not to over do it to the point of an injury since that will just get me to being able to do zero. I'm considering finding a plan to follow to ease me into it better. We'll see. emoticon

Hey there lady, just checking up on you! How are things going?? Are you surviving the heat down there?! Our weather has been crazy. It was 55 degrees on Monday and Friday the high is supposed to be 93. So hard to plan with temp swings like that.

I haven't got in much walking or jogging lately but I'm hoping to get my bum going in that regard!

Thanks for the recipe! I am on vacation this week but I will be sure to try it out when I get home.

Hi - let me know if you find any good things to make in your Ninja! I had a smoothie with "power greens" this morning. Couldn't even finish it - just like eating cut grass! Lol
