Reaching My Goal 1 Pound at a Time!

I'm a nearly 39 year old mother of 4. Been happily married for 20 years to a really great guy. I am 4 foot 11 inches and my current weight is 127 lbs. About 6 1/2 years ago I weighed around 164 pounds. I lost nearly 50 pounds but have struggled to maintain that weight. This time I want to to get to my goal and stay there. With the Lord's help what could hold me back?

My Goals:
My goal is to pay attention to my body and only eat when I am truly hungry.

My Program:
I am keeping track of everything I eat with the nutrition tracker. I love that it gives my a caloric range to fall into.

I get up around 4:45 AM to exercise. That is a huge challenge for me. With working full time this is the best time for me to get the exercise I need.

Personal Information:
I have been married to a wonderful man for 20 years. We have 4 beatiful children! The Lord has really blessed us.

I am a Christian school teacher and enjoy my job very much.

Dropping by to say hi, thank you for inviting me to your Team, I have been enjoying the group for the past couple of weeks, I went there today and was hoping to huddle with the group, unfortunately I received a message stating that none of the Leaders had been active, as a consequence I was denied access. I'm wondering what to do now, here's hoping the group is not being discontinued, it has been a blessing. I sure hope the group will re-open. Thanks for keeping me posted.

God's Richest Blessings as always, Your Friend, Judith

P.s. I went back to the group and the same message is on but good news the huddle wall is back on...Woo Hoo..

I've heard that once I get back to Korea the rest of my time there will FLY. I hope so! Have a blessed day.

I just want to thank you for your warm welcome into the Independent Baptist team. And I have already found a comfortable place withing the group :) I am so glad to be a part of it! I have been a bit backslidden for a couple of months and after speaking to my Pastor's wife this past week, I am ready to get back on track for the Lord. I joined the goal of reading 4 chapters each day in the Bible. Thanks again for the welcome!

aw thanks. You know, we're doing this as a family. My daughter will be a freshman in college next fall! so excited for her - so sad for me. Anywhooooo......

She has put on a little weight these past 2 yrs because I think she was a late bloomer and she is getting womanly LOL. She needs to lose about 10-15 lbs., She has lessened her cal. intake by alot, she has had a few days where she has eaten maybe just a bit more than she should have - HOWEVER, she hasn't lost a pound! (in about 2 1/2 weeks). My husband and I have lost about 32 lbs. between the two of us.

I am so frustrated for her and so is she. Do kids lose slower?

Love,
Sandy emoticon
