Me at my lowest weight (160) back in high school... What I wouldn't give to get back to that weight!

Hi there! My name's Dolly, and I'm a full-time college student who loves to cook, bake, and explore the foreign cuisine. Not the best hobby to have when it comes to losing weight!

I'm starting my 5th round with Sparkpeople, and I'm hoping that this time it will stick! No more letting myself get off track, this time I HAVE to make a change! ...Well, a lot of changes, but let's start with one- the change from being the kind of person who gives up after the first cupcake fest to the kind of person who shrugs, laughs it off, and chops up some veggies to get ready for my next meal.

My weight has been yo-yoing all my life, and now it's up to the highest it's ever been. Starting to see the terrible effects of obesity affecting my body, and I'm scared enough of what's in store if I keep down this path that I'm on that I'm ready to change!

Fitness Minutes: 1,338

My Goals:
From a start weight of 218 lbs, I'd like to get down to around 150... I can't remember having been below 160 since somewhere around 6th grade- I've been a big girl for a long time! I'm not so much worried about the number on the scale though as much as I want to be fit, healthy, and happy!

My Program:
* Keeping my calories between 1340 and 1690 daily
*Limiting my intake of sugary foods
*Working on slowly integrating exercise into my life

Personal Information:
I'm 22 years old, and I live in Ridgefield, WA. I'm attending college full-time, working towards getting my Bachelor's in Linguistics and Japanese, and someday I'd like to live in Japan and work as a translator. I've got a long way to go, but the ride there's half the fun!
