Life is Good!

Started in 2006 at about 245 lbs, currently at 175....trying to get to 145, and continue this healthy active happy lifestyle :)


JUST FOR TODAY I WILL:

* Be grateful and remember that my thoughts have already & will continue to become reality...for better or worse
* Treat my body and my self with the respect and honor I deserves
* Take 30 minutes to indulge my creativity or, just to "Be"
* Perform at least one random act of kindness
* ...

* Allow all of these affirmations to positively influence my son, my friends and family
* LIVE! LOVE! LAUGH! ....cliche, but what else is there afterall?!

Combination of walking, running, Kickboxing, riding, strength training and focus on active living along with eating sensibly and cleanly, focusing on whole foods and portion control in order to eliminate emotional eating

I am a busy mom of a teen son, a devoted equestrian, a human servant to my canine partner, an avid baker, a problem solver, a good friend, an artist trapped in the body of a bookkeeper for a major landscape management company , ...to name a few of my hats!

I'm orginally from PA, lived in MA, family in CA, TX and everywhere, currently living in Canada!

Congrats on handling your feelings wisely! I thought of you when I saw this FB post this morning. It's purdy sweet, so I decided to share it:

I agree with you, and I think that as long as I'm actively considering how to create balance in my world, I will eventually get there.

Not that life won't keep throwing me curves, because that's life. But if I have balance as my baseline, then I'll find it easier to readjust when things get out of wack.

I hope you are feeling centered and happy, having a day of healthy choices.

You are such a sweetie!!! You get it ... !!!! Thanks for thinking of me. I'll remember your words tomorrow as I'm doing one of the tougher obstacles. But they even say on the website that the Warrior Dash is more about mental toughness than being in great shape!!!

I'm looking for fun with a friend, a challenge or two (I'm SURE that will happen) AND the money St. Jude Children's Research Center will get out of it ... great cause, for sure!!!

Hope you have a great weekend. Sounds like you have something special planned since you mentioned getting a bottle of wine!! Enjoy!!!
