JUST FOR TODAY I WILL:

* Be grateful and remember that my thoughts have already & will continue to become reality...for better or worse

Just making sure (after reading about your love of crows) that you know in the Native American tradition, crows are very sacred.

When Beth and I went to Australia, one set of our friends took us to the Outback for a long weekend. Part of that was a short hike into some very special areas that included aboriginal drawings on cave/cliff walls. As we hiked into the area that contained the drawings, a lone crow sat high above the walls on the single branch of a tree (weren't many trees in the area). It was obvious to me that this crow was a gatekeeper or watchkeeper of some sort. We spoke to the crow in a low voice thanking it for allowing us to share in the magic of the area, assuring it we were not there to do harm.

True story, very spiritual, hair standing on end on all parts of my body!!! :-)

So there's another reason for you to love crows!!!

Hope you're having a wonderful week, my friend!!!

Thanks for your kind words on my Spark page. I feel the same way, my friend (privileged to share in gratitudes with you). Hope you're STILL celebrating your birthday. My personal feeling - they should be celebrated the month through!!!

As for my nephew, it's a much longer story than you would ever care to read. My relationship with him (he's the oldest of four nephews/nieces) is very, very special to me, as I really don't have a relationship with my other three. My brother (who's getting a bit better, but still remains kind of a jerk) has remarried. The new wife, mother of the other three, doesn't put for ANY effort with me. I still don't know if they got my wedding gift, let alone presents sent for the kids. Geez ....

My oldest nephew's mother, on the other hand, is so very appreciative of anything I do for my nephew ... well, and he's just a very special kid anyway, so it all makes is doubly special.

See you soon!!! Have a GREAT day!

Stephanie
