Hi, I'm Joy the Procrastinator. Because of my habit, I've been missing out on a lot! I joined Spark People to remind me that I want to get over that, and join the flow and live.
Update 2011: I wrote that a few years ago, and truly have enjoyed transforming my life. I plan my fun quite deliberately and enjoy knowing that I have a schedule full of good times ahead with my friends and family.
My remaining challenge is to question some of the core ideas about and demands on myself that have given me some misery in the past, and to live life as a good enough person.
To learn to live deliberately and well, so that I have energy for giving generously and joyously.
Just "doing it" even if I can't do a perfect job of it.
Getting rid of things I don't NEED to do that I'm not excited about.
Trying to learn to PLAN fun, so that I'm not just trying to sneak it into my To Do time.
When I'm down on myself, ask WHO is demanding this of me, and, is it a real concern I should be tackling at all?
46 year old computer programmer from central Ohio. Past history includes 7 years as a flight attendant, 8 as an Ohio Army National Guardsman.
I love to read: primarily history, anthropology, and sociology books.
I love to learn from other people, to hear their stories.
I love to run and learn how to do new things.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog... Yes, walking is aerobic and relaxing, but for some reason after walking about 12 blocks, my left hip starts to hurt. Hopefully it's nothing serious (... I am a breast cancer survivor and there's always a risk of metastasis to the bone)... but anyway, IF is great, I am used to it. My problem is actually eating enough on the days that I don't do a long period of IF. I am concentrating more on healthy fats and yams/sweet potatoes on my more active days, like strength training...
Lots to learn, but I am enjoying this journey and I love this lifestyle/diet. Thanks for starting this challenge, I will be doing the next one and any other challenges... I have a long way to go!

Thanks for stopping by to ready my blog. I hope I never had to get close enough to a beaver's butt to have to prove it. :) I find that helpful for me when I am tempted to eat "pretend" food. Go for the real stuff, is my motto any more.
