I too, have small children (3 ages 2, 4, and 7) and have little money for fitness. One way to get some quality time with your little one and get some exercise is to take a walk. Even if it is just 10 minutes, and even if you have to drive somewhere else to do it, just 10 minutes a day will be good for you and your little one. I have also found that exercise is not the main thing when losing weight- it is what you eat. Track faithfully and stay in your SP Ranges, and you will see success. 1501 days ago
I read your story today on the Daily Blog. I would tell you that two things helped me on this journey:
1. Understanding that I won't eat perfectly nor workout all the time. However, I can't allow those times of slip ups or just plain "I don't want to eat right or workout" times define my whole journey.
2. This is for my LIFE. It isn't a fad, or a quick fix, or something that will come easily. I have to love me enough to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles.
I applaud you for making the strides to do something different to get healthy. Know that you are not alone and although the journey sometimes feels like an uphill battle; the reward is worth all the sweat, tears, and soreness.
