Im a single mom of 2 boys! I am currently unemployed and looking to get into substitute teaching. I also go to school full time online to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Education.. I am looking forward to being more active & making better food choices. I am an emotional eater so that sometimes seems to overwhelm me. But I pray a lot & know that in Him I can succeed in anything! I once was very big into fitness and lost 50lbs in a 5 months working out 5-6 days a week. I feel in love with health and fitness. Then I got pregnant with my 2 y/o and was like "ohh my last pregnancy..Im going to enjoy this!" When I went in to have him I had gained a total of 100lbs. Being weight of 180 and topping out at 280. With in the first year I lost down to about 198. But then I started to yo-yo between 200-225. When I stepped on the scale in December 2010 & saw me peaking at 235 again I knew I had to make a life change. No fad diets, no starvation, changing the way I viewed foods and trying to be more active. 30 for me is right around the corner and that is still VERY young. I have made a lot of stupid life changing mistakes in my 20s & I want to start my 30s off right..healthy and with loads of energy. I know with the motivation from my cousin, Leann, spark people & raw determination I can & will do it!

Fitness Minutes: 595

My Goals:
I am setting mini goals for me to reach each month. My 1st one I am working towards is 223 by 2/1/11. Instead of just a certain amount of pounds each month I am doing a percentage of my starting weight at the 1st of each month. If I stick & meet each of my monthly mini goals I will be my goal weight of 165 by my 30th birthday 8/31/11!..So Ill be updating this monthly.

My Program:
I am currently keeping my calories between 1200-1500 each day. 64 oz of water a day and doing the Beachbody program Power 90. Its the level below P90X. I love it. Cardio & Sculpt rotate days 6 days week. I started on Jan 3rd and have lost 1.5 inches off my waist already!!

Originally from MS...but live in Alabama now. I stay pretty busy since im a single mom of a 10 y/o & a 2 y/o. But I wouldnt have it any other way. I am SO blessed!!!

    Awww Emmy...My loove you! It has been a ROUGH few days but its getting better. I just dropped Ethics, I feel such a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders! I wish THAT showed on the scales, lol. You're doing amazing sweet pea! I LOVE having a family member thats basically IN my shoes to hold me accountable. We can do this....we made the best tasting mud pies in the south, we can SURELY do this too!
