Carpe Diem

I am 20 years old and I have never been in real good shape in my entire life so I figure now is about the time I accomplish that. I try my best to work out at least 4 days a week but with 2 small children that can sometimes be a challenge. I also try not to focus to much on numbers since I am looking for muscle tone as well so even though I say I need to lose 38 pounds that could just as easily be 30 if I gain a lot of muscle mass.....we'll see how this turns out :)

So are you having as hard of a time losing in the beginning as I am?? I just weighed myself today (two weeks) and I swear to you, I gained 6lbs! I just don't see how that's possible, given that I haven't veered off track once yet (except for my Sunday day off that I give myself). But it seems like I can see the difference in my body (my husband's commented, too) so I tried to convince myself that it's muscle... but 6lbs of muscle in two weeks? Whatever :)
