Hello fellow Sparkers!

My husband and I have been going up and down, back and forth about our weight loss (and gain) for the past 4 years. We've been wanting to start a family but our weight is an issue. I recently had an appointment with my doctor and was given two prescriptions: Metformin and Provera. The metformin means I'm forced to review my diet. So, now we're on the path to health and family.

I recently had an appointment with my doctor and was given two prescriptions: Metformin and Provera. The metformin means I'm forced to review my diet. So, now we're on the path to health and family.

I know in my journey that I'll have excuses and I know I'll stumble, and I may fall. But falling doesn't mean giving up or quitting. I've done that before and disappeared from Spark for about a year at a time. I always come back a few months later, say I'm going to do it and then stop after a few weeks. For a while I actually said "I give up." But I can't keep that attitude and achieve the goals I have set for myself. This time, I have a doctors support, friends, family, and more confidence in myself that I can finally make a lifestyle change rather than just going on a diet.

Current Status:
SASYBLONDE is feeling frustrated. Personal Training on Tues/Weds is great but the week just feels too short to achieve the midweek assignments the trainer is giving. I know it's going to make the training harder

I'm taking Metformin, using a low carb diet to keep the side-effects minimal, and adding a light to moderate workout at least 3 days a week.

The DONE Girls are almost DONE getting SASSy and are getting ready to ROCK a new challenge, RockIT!!!

RockIt Starts July 1st and Ends October 20th. Maybe you never really felt SASSy. That's ok.
