The committment to myself
A wife, a mother of two and shareholder at my law firm, I have finally decided that I deserve to give some attention to my health. The airlines attendants have it right, if you don't take care of yourself, you lose your ability to be there for those you care about. (ie: put the air mask on yourself first and then on your children.) I 've kept "that red dress" from my law school "Barrister's Ball" and I intend to get back into it. A wife, a mother of two and shareholder at my law firm, I have finally decided that I deserve to give some attention to my health. The airlines attendants have it right, if you don't take care of yourself, you lose your ability to be there for those you care about. (ie: put the air mask on yourself first and then on your children.) I 've kept "that red dress" from my law school "Barrister's Ball" and I intend to get back into it. It's been 13 years and 2 children since I had that figure but I am on the right path to get it back! I know that's a big goal so first I will shoot for a sprint triathlon in under 2 hours or not stopping to walk in a 5k, then feeling comfortable in a two-piece swimsuit, getting back into my wedding dress and the red dress finale!

My Goals:
1) Half Marathon: DONE!!! 2) 5k in under 30 minutes : (almost)31 minutes on July 25 3) sprint tri in under 1:40 DONE 4) olympic tri 5) lose 20 pounds by April 19, 2010 6) complete 1/2 ironman in July: DONE!!!
My Program:
1) 12 week training program for half ironman: DONE!!! 2) work with Holly at least once a week which will include core work 3) resume fitness and food log

sassyatty@yahoo.com age 40 Goals accomplished thusfar: lost 70 pounds last year in local biggest loser competition in 24 weeks. Finished tri in under 1:50, ran without stopping in a 5K, completed 1/4 marathon, wore that red dress for Halloween, and wore a victoria's secret bikini in January! NEW GOALS: As I did put some weight back on, I want to drop 20 by 4/19/10
