How funny! You were in the US and didn't even know it! Glad that the guard was understanding! We stayed in Toronto for a long weekend, and I remember touring the castle and going up to the top of the CN Tower. I took a photo from the top, looking down on the tangle of tracks below, and it made an interesting picture. I won an award with that picture way back then.

Canada is a wonderful country, in my book, and I surely wouldn't mind living there! I would prefer to live in Western Canada, it is gorgeous! We are thinking of taking a trip to Alaska next summer with a group of RV friends, and if we do, we will be taking the Alaska Hwy, through Western Canada.

If you DO go down to Oklahoma, be sure and let me know!! If we are done with the house, we don't mind taking the RV and going on a trip! Maybe we could meet you somewhere for dinner! emoticon

You should go to Oklahoma and visit your relatives! Sounds like you may have a lot in common! emoticon

I'll bet you'd connect with them right away!

So, it kind of had different origins. I knew the one from the American West and South. I think Oklahoma and Texas were the number one states of origin from the American side of things! Down here, redneck is not necessarily a pejorative term, but just refers to people who like hunting, fishing, guns, the land, and pickup trucks! emoticon
