Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.
Robert H. Schuller

Oh Wow! That must have been a REALLY small hospital! I have never worked in one too small, all my duties have been medical except for a few housekeeping duties in cleaning up blood, urine, or feces. Housekeeping wouldn't touch it until nurses cleaned up all visible body excrements (including vomit!) from any surface. That is ridiculous that you had to cook and even feed the boiler!! Glad that you are out of that situation! emoticon

We are hoping to someday be up that way....however the time window is really small, considering how late Spring comes and how soon the first snow arrives! We don't want to be caught out in the severe cold and icy roads! emoticon

What a bummer to get the flu vaccine and still end up with the flu! Hope that you are better soon, I know that the flu is miserable! I had it myself a few years ago, and ever since then, I have gotten the shot. Of course, having been a nurse, I was often exposed to it!
