I agree with you 100% as much as I love dogs they should never be allowed to run loose where there are cars.Nor should children for that matter. Look after your responsibilities do not force unsuspecting drivers to look out for your pets or children !

Thanks so much re: your tip about Goodreads. I'd never heard of it.

There are two used bookstores in a city aboutr 8 miles from where I live, in the next city. One of them is also a coffee/sandwich shop, which also sells funky antiques (I bought two wooden shoes there once). And the great thing about this store is that you can use your accumulated credit to buy books there, rather than there being a limit. (There was another used bookstore in the enxt county that had a much lower amount you could use on books/DVD's you would purchase, but the owner's rationale was that "hey, I've got to make SOME profit.

Sadly, that bookstore went out of business.

There other bookstore (used) in the same town, 8-10 miles from me, is across the street from a train station (very scenic). It's two stories and has a lot of great books. I try to stay away from there as much as possible. HA!

Thanks again for the tip, I'm going to check that out.

Oh well, time to hit the bedroom and CLEAN!!!!

(Right now my back is somewhat sore from Wed., but I'm taking some non-aspirin and pushing on! I will reward myself by taking myself out to a healthy lunch this afternoon.

TA!!!!

I laughed myself silly reading your comment to my blog. I was thinking, "How can you survive with only ONE bookcase????"

But I understand your reasoning.

I am going to be trading in books that I don't read very often (but if it's one I'll think I may later want to read, I'll note it in a journal I have for that purpose. Then I can always go to the library and get it there, or put in an Interlibrary Loan Request (ILL).

Thanks so much for your support! It's your your faith that keeps me going!!!!
