This was me the first time around. I was 40lbs from my goal weight.

Wayyy back in 2000, I trained for a half marathon, ate clean and lifted heavy. My goal body.

I have 8 pics in my gallery

Moving Forward

Hi there! I'm a 41 year old mom of two girls. This is a weight loss reboot. Yes. I'm one of those statistics: In 2009, I lost 65lbs by tracking calories and working out. I was doing great, but was too hard on myself, got discouraged and lost focus. I gained it all back and more. I now have about 100lbs to lose. I'm making changes to my eating and fitness lifestyle that I plan on keeping for life.

March 24, 2014 - 12 lbs down!

My Goals:
1. To establish healthy eating habits for myself and my family.

2. To lose 100ish pounds.

3. To become fit: mind, body and soul!

My Program:
For healthy eating I concentrate on eating lean meats, whole grains and lots of fruit and veggies. I plan on keeping between 1200 and 1500 calories per day.

That said, I allow myself 1 cheat day per week, sometimes more if there's a birthday or something. Even on my 'cheat' meals I eat in moderation stopping when I'm satisfied not stuffed.

Exercise: Walking (track steps using Fitbit) and beginner bootcamp videos on StreamFIT.com

Personal Information:
I'm myself.

I'm a geek. I game. I have a strange sense of humor.

I'm into electronic music, especially trance, chill and progressive house. I do, however, also listen to jazz, and angsty female goth/metal etc.

You know, they probably do have some... maybe in one of the studios or maybe even behind the counter for the equipment checkout? I dunno. They don't have them sitting out anywhere... but the gym is so big and nice and whatnot I never would have even thought to ask, but now that you mention it, maybe they do! :D haha

I HAVE - I have one and I love it. But I haven't used it lately -- and today I was cold and heading to a workout at the gym, didn't want to tote my foam roller to the gym... suppose I could and just leave it in the locker while I workout though if I wanted to do the same in the future -- warm up, rollout, workout... roll again...

You are incredible. Well done! 50 lbs gone. I'm a bit stuck at the moment....just 5 more pounds to my mid-point. I hate plateaus!

Honestly so far not noticing any definition, but I think my arms and shoulders might be getting a bit bigger actually, I have to look at them more critically soon and see. hahaha. :D But nothing obvious -- although I am definitely seeing the changes in strength. I'm feeling really good doing it so I'm gonna stick with it for sure.
