2013 is here!!

2013 is here! And I want to make it my year! Two very big things are happening this year - I am turning 40 and I'm getting married! I want to start out this decade the healthiest I have ever been and I want to start out my married life healthy as well!

The long-term goal: Fit by 40! SP says I can do it by November. Let's do this thing!

Goals:

Lose the first five!

Lose 10 by my birthday.

Move from 'obese' to just 'overweight' according to my BMI

Be able to wear my formerly 'fat' jeans, now 'skinny' jeans!

Tracking, tracking, and more tracking! My boyfriend is working it with me; we are tracking, hitting the gym and watching our portions, as we cheer each other on!

Hey there! 2 months until the wedding --- woo-hoo!! You must be getting so excited for your big day. Hope you're enjoying the process. Too many brides get caught up in the details and don't take a breath and enjoy it!!

I know it's been a long time, but I'm still trying. Actually, I've recently started the Eat To Live plan by Dr. Fuhrman and am doing great. It's basically a plant based diet, which I've been leaning towards for a long time but was scared to commit to fully. Amazingly, the last week has been a lot easier than I thought. It's not just about weight anymore (although I am still trying to lose 40 lbs), it's much more about health. I still want to look better, but I also want to feel my best to enjoy life!! Oh, and getting into all those darn clothes in my closet would be nice too. LOL

All the best with the wedding plans!!
