hello! i am completely fed up and miserable with myself right now. i've always been "chubby" but i became my biggest probably a couple of years ago and get completely disgusted when i see a picture of myself from then.

now things are hard because i have a new job which is basically alot of sitting at the computer and does not leave alot of time for exercise by the time i get home....this was written a couple of years ago and obviously it HAS been hard because the lack of ...
hello! i am completely fed up and miserable with myself right now. i've always been "chubby" but i became my biggest probably a couple of years ago and get completely disgusted when i see a picture of myself from then.

now things are hard because i have a new job which is basically alot of sitting at the computer and does not leave alot of time for exercise by the time i get home....this was written a couple of years ago and obviously it HAS been hard because the lack of exercise has caused me to gain about 30 lbs!....shew...but I am totally motivated right now and know that this weight HAS to come off!

so i guess i am here to try to learn correct eating habits, exercising, and especially just keeping motivated. i seem to really have a problem with motivation.

i really don't weigh myself, i just don't care how much i weigh....i am more interested in the size that i wear. but, i did set a goal to try and lose 1 lb a week....haha...and this has changed too, because now I am totally obsessed with weighing. I know I am only supposed to weigh once a week, but seeing my weight each day is motivation for me!

My Goals:
i just got married on june10, 2008. i got married weighing ALOT more than i wanted to weigh when i got married. so i am going to make a goal of losing 1 lb a week. if i could lose that much i would be happy.

i also have a goal of cutting the love affair between my husband and "little debbie" . i am afraid he is on his way towards diabetes alot sooner than he should be.

My Program:
1. I'm completely cutting out soda, which is no big deal for me as I love water and tea....but do enjoy a diet coke every once in a while.

2. Junk food is a major problem for me...and snacking....I have to learn to control that.

3. Exercise Exercise Exercise.....lack of it is my main flaw.

My first goal I want to reach is 30 lbs, but I want to lose much more than that. But, to keep myself motivated I will have 10lb rewards such as getting my nails done, and such.

I'm home on spring break this week so I have not been as on top of my game with all my moms delicious cooking. I have been drinking some more water though so that is one positive but there isn't really a gym around were I live so I have just been taking my dog on walks. How are you doing?

Hey! Good for you on making it through your b-day! It is so easy to find excuses through those times but it sounds like you did great. Not so good here. My partner has been off for spring break and not so focused so I have let that rub off on me. However, we went grocery shopping last night for healthy foods and did much better today so I hope to continue. So tell me, what do you do....school, work?

Hey you! Sorry it's been awhile. I have been busy with work, and I threw a baby shower for my sister in law last night, so there was lots of planning to do. Haven't been doing to great with the eating right, but I'm blaming shower prep for that.

How have you been doing? Keeping up with the water drinking?

Thank you! I have hit a plateau these past two weeks so it was really great to hear your encouragement! Yesterday was the first day in a while that I intentionally drank water again and I know it was because of your thread so thanks for that too getting me back on track. I hope it is alright if I add you as a friend and yeah to staying hydrated!
