I just wanted to drop in and welcome you to Sparkpeople!! It's an awesome website that has helped many people reach their goals... and it will help you as well!! There are many wonderful things about SP. 1) your nutrition page where you track all your food for the day. 2) your blog. this is where you type in how you are doing so that you have a reminder to look back on. 3) and this is my FAVORITE... it's the team forums!! This is where I get most of my motivation from. Belonging to a team allows you to make friends and lose weight in the process!! There is always someone there to lift you up when you are having a bad day, and always someone there to celebrate with you when you reach a goal.

I would say to start with small goals... one at a time. It's important not to push yourself too hard in the beginning.

If you are looking for teams to join, I am co-leader of It's time to lighten up and Calling all Goonies 2008. I believe that joining either one of these teams will be huge a support to you!! Just go to my sparkpage and click on the team icon that you want to join.
