Sarah thank you for stopping by my blog and the lovely encouragement you left behind for me by sharing your mom's struggle with mobility. Yes I now use only a cane but still need a caregiver's help to stand up or get out of bed. And though at home I do manage with just the cane, I am scared to walk alone outside without a care-giver by my side. I am blessed that I have a live-in nurse who is like my shadow and is with me always. As well as the fact that I live in a big joint family and have 2 grand-daughters-in-law and 2 great-grand-daughters-in-law who live with us and are totally devoted to me.
Incidentally my daughter's name is also Sara, but she spells her's without the 'h'.
Hugs, Prayers & Blessings to you Mani 619 days ago
Hi Sarah, the 5 generation picture was taken in 2010 at my mom's 80th birthday party. My grandma was 15 when Mom was born, and 55 when I was born. She passed away a year and a half ago and I miss her every day. She was quite the lady. 622 days ago
Thank you for the goodie and Happy Monday! I haven't finished writing about my first train vacation and am already looking forward to the next one. I need to finish part 3 so I can get the photos off my phone!
My exercise has been pretty irregular due to plantar fascaitis, I have been pretty frustrated with ongoing foot issues; however, I could certainly use some accountability too--so lets do it! 628 days ago
Thanks for the goodie. I've lost a pound in the last 2 weeks, but my tracker didn't update. I wonder why? Not that a pound is much, but it's better than the gaining trend I've been on for the past few months. 649 days ago
