From Depressed to Living Happily

I have recently decided to change. My lifestyle, and my appearance. I want to feel confident in myself for once in my life and not worry about what others see when they look at me. I want to be able to talk to others without being self conscious.

I am over halfway to my goal weight, and I couldn't be happier! I am beginning to gain some self confidence as well as feeling better physically because of my improved health. I also have avoided getting sick this year, so I must have improved since last year I had problems with getting sick quite often.

I am looking forward to this year as I reach steadily closer and closer to my goal.

Update 05/05/13

So I've been on a plateau for the last few months. Well, I haven't been trying my hardest in nutrition and fitness goals, so that's probably why it's lasted this long. But I've recommitted and lost a pound this week!

I am so ready to move past this road block and get to my goal this year! I believe I can do it and make 2013 my ultimate and goal reaching year!

So I did the reach my goal. In fact, I gained back about 15 pounds last year. That sucks.

But I'm optimistic I will be able to take it slower this year and do better. With school and everything going on in my life, I am struggling to find motivation to make time to go to the gym. The weather isn't helping my intentions either. But I have an online course I'm taking and am using that as a reason to go to the gym to watch it while I work out.

It's not the exercise that is my problem lately. It's the food. I've been overeating and eating so many sweets. I'm looking for inspiration and motivation to reach my goals.
