Hi, read your comment on my page and want to tell you my exersises I do. I went to the chiropracter for awhile and he helped me soo much. He got me started on my way to being more mobile and back to sleeping in a bed instead of my chair for the past 6 yrs because of pain in my hips. I use a stability ball and sit on it and do circles and figure eights with my butt. (1 set of 20 to the right then change to 1 set of 20 to the left then repeat to right again then left). It feels kinda weird at first (I really like it now) but it loosens up my painful, stiff hip joints. At first I had to hang on to couch cause I would loose my balance but now my balance has improved also. It also realigns your spine when you sit on a ball and my neck feels so much better (neck problems is why I saw him). He also had me work with resistance bands, I use 5lb one. Hook it over top of door sit on floor and do rows. Then change to side of door and do more rows.2 sets of 20 ea. (I said you want me to get down on the floor?! He said yes so I did it was hard at first but now I'm moving up and down pretty good. This was to strengthen my back which has helped my neck). Ive added to that by doing crunches on my ball. Wall squats with ball ( as far as I can squat). Bisep curls with band and side bends with band and front arm raises with band. Check out the exersise videos on spark page with resistant bands. There is whole routine you can do sitting down in chair with your band that works whole body! Also there is a cardio video you can do sitting in your chair! Love SPARKPEOPLE. I truly am so glad I purchased the ball and the bands (considered a long time because I have wasted so much money on weightloss crud). I just want to encourage you to keep trying - dont give up! Thank you for the inspiring words on my blog. I do have a lot to be proud of. I also found that I try to ride that hard work out and give myself excuses to make the wrong choices. It isn't necessarily the few pounds that bother me it is the the justifications I give myself for eating bad food and skipping workouts.
