2010 will be my best year yet!

Well I am back AGAIN! I feel like a broken record saying that over and over again. But I am back. I owe it to myself and my family to be back for good...so here it goes! I have been on and off SP for a few years now - but I have tracked my food and exercise for the most part the entire time.

The past year and a half has been an emotional rollercoaster for me and my family. We were trying for a second child and now I am in the midst of a divorce! Wow, it is crazy how life ...
Well I am back AGAIN! I feel like a broken record saying that over and over again. But I am back. I owe it to myself and my family to be back for good...so here it goes! I have been on and off SP for a few years now - but I have tracked my food and exercise for the most part the entire time.

The past year and a half has been an emotional rollercoaster for me and my family. We were trying for a second child and now I am in the midst of a divorce! Wow, it is crazy how life can change so quickly! But I am staying positive and I will get through this stronger and a much better person!

A little bit about me:

I am from Indiana. I have one son. I did not gain the weight until I went off to college - too much good food and too many parties :) Then I met my ex husband and the weight really piled on. Then I had my son. It was after he was born that I realized my weight was so much higher then I ever wanted it to be - so I joined SP and lost a lot and felt great! Once the infertility issues started I gained a lot of weight back, but now being on my own again and eating the way I want to eat - things are starting to happen for me weight wise again! I can and will do it again! I am trying to really stick with a lifestyle change! Thanks to all my Spark friends that kept me in their thoughts while I was away! You all are the best! Here is to final chances!!!

My Goals:
I would like to get back down to 130 at least and then take it from there. The last time I was on Spark People I wanted to get down to 120. I am going to set smaller goals this time around. I want to cut down on the sweets and candy I consume. There is no nutrional value in it so it needs to stop! I love sweets so this will be hard for me but I think if you rid your body of them, you will not crave them as much.



My Program:
5 times a week - Cardio work outs (DVDS, walking, Elliptical, Stair Climber) and two - three of those days incorporating ST.

My goals
1. Get back on track
2. Get back to doing my 2 a day work outs most days but not overdo it
4. Lose 5+ pounds
6. Eat less carbs!!!!
7. Get more protein
8. Have fun and enjoy life!
9. Start really thinking about what I eat again
11. Watch my sodium intake
12. Cut down on sweets and junk
13. Eat for a purpose!

hey sarah! yes i am back.. i didnt really track last week i had so much going on which is not an excuse but i ate ok. im so sorry to hear about you and your husband. i know you are so strong and you will be just fine! i really really wanna get back down to a weight i am happy with so def lets push eachother!

Your first mini? That's amazing!! I ran the Chicago half last year (my first half!) and it was a great race! What program are you using to train for it?

I'm great! I just ran the OneAmerica 500 Festival mini here in Indy, my third half marathon. My third will be Labor day weekend in Oregon where my mom lives so I'll get to visit her and participate in a race there! So fun :). I plan on running my first marathon in Las Vegas in December... still a little scared when I say that!
