Hello! My name is Sarah, I am a social worker from Nelson County, Virginia.
Thank you for visiting my SparkPage. I hope those of you reading it are enjoying your weight loss and lifestyle changing journeys. I wish you all the best, and happiness and fulfillness in your progress.
I joined SparkPeople in May of 2008, and over a period of 8 months, I lost 30 pounds, going from 189 to 159 lbs. (applause). I graudated with my undergraduate social work degree in December 2008, and sadly, began a gradual decline into stress, uncertainty, and eventually weight gain as I entered the life of a new grad with no work prospects. I have since gained back 17 lbs!
But now, it's October 2009, and I finally found my social work job at last, right here in my own county. The time has come to turn over a new leaf...again...as I once did so successfully before. I know I can do it! I've been gone from SparkPeople a long time, but now I am back, and ready to reach my original weight goal of 147 lbs.

Achieving a normal weight range, eating healthy food, and staying fit with exercise.
I follow the SparkDiet and strive every day to improve upon the lifestyle changes I have made.
I go to Tae Kwon Do classes two times a week, weight lifting and cardio in a gym twice a week.
I am also drinking more water, eating at least five fruits and vegetables a day, and eating healthier foods.
My name is Sarah, I live in Nelson County, Virginia, and I am a graduate of James Madison University. I am a Child Protective Services social worker for the Nelson County Department of Social Services.
I have five cats and a boyfriend of six years. I love reading, Tae Kwon Do, riding my motorcycle, and snowboarding. I am currently a red belt in Tae Kwon Do.
