Welcome to my spark page! I am here to become fit and healthy not only for me but for my girls. I want to be a healthy and fit mama for them! I have been battling my weight since I was a young child. I can remember going on a diet when I was in around 10. When I got into my teens I began doing every fad diet out there. I have tried Atkins, LA Weight Loss, Weight Watchers, South Beach you name it I have tried it. I obviously did not have success with any of them.

I joined spark in 2010. I lost 30 pounds within the first 6 months. I used the fitness tracker and food tracker. I have wonderful supportive spark friends who helped me along the way. I even ran a 5k! Who would have thought I would have a fitness routine. I loved it. 2010 was amazing.

Today marks the start of my new healthy journey and lifestyle change. Not only and I going to get physically fit but also mentally fit. I have battled depression, anxiety and codependency for many years. It is time to break free from it all.

*get off of anxiety/depression meds



My Program:
~I am buying fresh produce and cooking healthy meals at home. Meal planning is a must and I am limiting fast food. Spark recipes is a great tool I use.

~Drinking 64+ oz of water

~1,000 fitness minutes each month

Hey Sarah! I am doing a detox. It's a 21 day sugar detox. I did it once before last year and it really helped push me on in my weight loss journey and got me back to eating real foods. Here's the link http://balancedbites.com/sugar-detox. I follow a lot of Primal/Paleo type eating but I get off track here and there and I know this will help me again. Hope you're doing well!

Hey lady love! Thanks for the comments on my blog! I'll try to keep up with my daily food intake! Im trying to eat when Im hungry and make smart decisions when doing so. Im seeing if I can do it without tracking so I wont have all of the calories/fat/etc. Im trying to focus on high protein and low sugar!
