My name is Sarah, Im 29 years old and I have struggled with my weight my entire life. After almost a year on Spark People and losing over 80 lbs and then gaining some of that back over the last few months...I have decided to get my butt in gear and start losing again!

This past year has changed me in so many ways. I have found I love running...although I don't get to do it much anymore:( And I love working out! I love how good I feel when I am eating healthy foods...can I say I LOVE fruit! I met an amazing guy. Before I started this journey I had just about given up on finding love...but it found me! I am happier than I have ever been. I found out he loves me just the way that I am. But just for me I want to continue to lose. I know I will never be supermodel skinny nor do I want to be that skinny. I wan to be healthy! I want to be in a healthy weight range. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. I was getting really close to being that way before June! Once school let out things became a struggle for me. But I have decided to take control of ME again and get back on track.

When we feel the satisfaction of accomplishment we are motivated to take on new challenges. Knowing that the attention and resources we’ve channeled into a certain goal have brought us success gives us the confidence we need to take on more responsibilities. We also have a greater understanding of our own personal strengths, and that knowledge enables us to make good choices about the plans we make, the tasks we take on, and the new goals we wish to set for ourselves. We are ushered along by the momentum of our own success, and greater success naturally manifests as a result. Use today’s accomplishments to fuel you into action by taking on more endeavors, and you will enjoy still greater achievements.
