I am DONE putting myself last!!!

I have been overweight all my life. Growing up in a household where it is common to sit in front of the TV, I did not have the advantage of learning how eating right and exercising often feels. Both parents worked 50+ hours a week and never forced me to go outside and play. I hated gym class growing up, mostly because of the people staring and calling me fat. I will never understand why I ever let people get to me like that, but it took its toll and will be something I continue to struggle ...

I will never understand why I ever let people get to me like that, but it took its toll and will be something I continue to struggle with the rest of my life.

I am now married and living far from home with another person raised in a stationary childhood (computers and eating). It is incredibly difficult to get us both moving, so now I move for me. It hurts, it is tiring and it brings up emotions that are sometimes suffocating to deal with, but it is all part of the journey.

Everyday I have to try to reteach myself good habits. Don't watch more than 1 hour of TV a night unless it is while on the treadmill, don't order pizza instead of cooking a healthy meal.

My daily mantra: I WILL DO THIS!!!

My Program:
DAILY CALORIE RANGE: 1200-1400

EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE!!!
- Strength Training 3-4x/week
- Cardio 4-5x/week

NUTRITION:
- Eat 4-8 servings of fruit/vegetables per day
- Only eat out one meal a week
- Eat less processed, more whole foods




Personal Information:
I am married with 2 canine rescue kids. I am an avid dog lover, especially towards rescues.

Art is my passion - drawing, graphics, tattoo design, stained glass... basically anything that allows me to create! I am also a musician, though Art dominates my time.
