Ready for a Change! =)

Well, my name is Sara and I'm 30 years old. Finally decided back in May of 2011 that I was tired of being 199 pounds and was committed to doing something about it. My goal was to get down to 140 by December 31st. I made it down to 149 in Nov 2011, then found out I was expecting another baby! I had a healthy, 9 pound 2 ounce baby boy on July 10, 2012. In March 2013 I got engaged to my honey and we are getting married April 4, 2014. Time to loose the baby weight! I'm essentially starting ...
Well, my name is Sara and I'm 30 years old. Finally decided back in May of 2011 that I was tired of being 199 pounds and was committed to doing something about it. My goal was to get down to 140 by December 31st. I made it down to 149 in Nov 2011, then found out I was expecting another baby! I had a healthy, 9 pound 2 ounce baby boy on July 10, 2012. In March 2013 I got engaged to my honey and we are getting married April 4, 2014. Time to loose the baby weight! I'm essentially starting over as I'm back up to about 200 pounds, and my goal is to get down to 150 by March 1, 2014. I've done it before, so I KNOW I can do it again! was always a very active person and thin until I got married and had my son. (my son is now 5.5). Now that I'm divorced, decided it was time to start over in all aspects of my life including my weight...so here I am. I currently am following the Spark People nutrition recommendations and am doing the 7 day boot camp workout also here on SparkPeople. It's a struggle finding time to exercise with 2 kids and a job, but they say if it's important to you, you'll make the time, and if not, you'll make an excuse! So on the days that I work you can find me at the gym at 4:00 am! I can't wait to get back to my active, thin self!

My Goals:
Ultimate goal is to hit 135 pounds by December 31, 2011.

My Program:
I was doing the old weight watchers program and tracking everything from exercise to foods I eat, but found it much easier to follow the Spark People recommendations and I've stuck with that and had great success!

Personal Information:
I'm originally from the Seattle area and lived there for 21 years. Then moved to the Tampa area, then to Anchorage for a couple of years and now I'm back in the Bradenton area of Florida.

Other Information:
Anything worth doing isn't easy and anything easy isn't worth doing.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

I really do understand how discouraging it is when you work very hard and don't see the progress you had hoped for. I'm having that problem now with my running. I started Week 6 really well but then things just fell apart. On Satuday I didn't feel like running so I decided to just walk instead. Go figure - while I was walking I hurt my knee! I tried to run yesterday but I pooped out after ten minutes. So I know what it feels like to be discouraged. But you and I both set out to achieve goals and we need to keep going despite the setbacks. The only person who can stop you is you and the only person who can stop me is me. And neither of us is going to let that happen!!
