Changing my life
Today (03/14/2011) I hit the 100lbs lost mark from my highest weight. I feel like I've climbed the first mountain and now it's on to the second. I know the next 100lbs will probably be harder but I feel like I'm ready to take it on. I've strayed from tracking in the past but I'm proud of myself for coming back and pushing through instead of giving up and eating myself back into a hole. When I fall I remind myself it's not the end of the world and it doesn't diminish ...
When I fall I remind myself it's not the end of the world and it doesn't diminish everything good I've done. You have to pick yourself up and keep going or you'll never get anywhere. My next big challenge is to become a runner. Even as a child I could never run. I was always last in gym class in our timed miles. I've always wanted to be a runner and I think now is the time to accomplish that goal. Update 5/30/11-So running didn't exactly go as planned. I'm just not in good enough shape to pull it off. I got a gym membership last week and I'm working on my fitness. So, I've decided to make becoming a runner a long term goal instead of a short term goal!
