Hi Deb and welcome to our Managing Diabetes Group where you will receive lots of support and encouragement from everyone. Remember to just take one day at a time on this journey of a lifetime. This journey consists of many small steps, a few speed bumps and pot holes, and a lot of fun. I will be here for you and try to help you on this journey to your goals. You have come to the right place. Take advantage of what Spark has to offer. I want to see you accomplish your goal(s). Stay focused and keep a positive attitude as this will be a great help to you in your daily life!!! Smile although sometimes that is the hardest, but it really helps!!! And, if nothing else, it makes people wonder what you're up to. Use your fitness and nutrition tracker daily. Watch your portion control. Be sure to drink plenty of water (8 - 8oz glasses a day) and walk. Water and walking will help you on this journey of weight loss and lowering numbers. Start small if that is all you can do or have time to do and add to it as you are able. Even 5-10 minutes several times a day adds up to bigger numbers and will keep you moving. Hi Deb, How are you? We havn't talked for awhile. My yr.was difficult. I took time away, I wish I didn't. I just recently started back with SP. My doctor prescribed a new medication.I feel so much better. I hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving. Our went well. . I'll be in touch.
